Mission Seekr: Empowering Youth
I collaborated with Seekr, an AI-driven news analysis company, and adventurer Bear Grylls to design an engaging web experience for a young audience.
The platform empowered users to complete missions inspired by global events, supported by credible AI-vetted news. Featuring Young Ambassadors as role models, the site encouraged creativity and action among young adventurers worldwide.

Journey Map
Armed with a clear vision and the site map at hand, I embarked on the journey of bringing this exceptional web experience to life.

Wireframes
In our initial consultation, the Seekr team shared their goals and vision, highlighting key pages for the website. Using this input, I created wireframes starting with the homepage, focusing on showcasing user missions and ensuring seamless navigation to boost engagement.

Through an iterative design process, I refined the user experience to balance Seekr's news features with mission interactivity. After multiple iterations, the final design met all stakeholder expectations.

Bear v. Seekr Branding
With the framework in place, I turned to crafting a visually compelling design. Collaborative meetings with the Seekr and Bear teams provided brand guidelines that highlighted contrasting styles: Seekr’s sleek, light mode aesthetic with a feminine touch and Bear’s rugged, masculine outdoor vibe.

The challenge was to harmonize these opposing identities. By focusing on shared themes and blending elements thoughtfully, I created a design that seamlessly balanced Seekr’s modern online feel with Bear’s adventurous essence.


Visual Language
Inspired by gaming platforms like Steam, I designed an immersive, mission-focused interface. Using Bear’s bold Industry font for titles and Source Sans Pro for body text, we bridged Seekr’s sleek style with Bear’s rugged vibe.
Textures and wave lines emphasized discovery, while a harmonized color palette—adjusting Bear’s orange and Seekr’s teal—ensured visual cohesion. Elements like a mission countdown timer, tied to Seekr’s score gradient, reinforced brand synergy.
This approach seamlessly united both brands, creating an engaging and cohesive user experience.

A Gamified UI Experience
After finding the puzzle pieces, it was time to put it all together. Following the brand guide I created for this new, merged experience, I crafted mockups for all the pages, refining the wireframes and tweaking all aspects to be pixel-perfect.




Project Handoff
Following a comprehensive call with the Engineering team, I meticulously documented and visualized the complete set of expected interactions and page connections. This handy reference guide served as a clear roadmap for the team during the implementation phase, ensuring a smooth execution that aligns with the intended user experience.
